Videoscope Staging brings Color Block 2™ to the show.

Videoscope Staging has added versatile Color Block 2 LED fixtures to our staging options.

“They add pizzaz to events,” says Rental Manager, Sam Ferranti. “We can be more creative with colours.”

“Typically we use them for uplighting on drape, or as a truss-warmer,” Staging Consultant, Gary Scott explains, “We might set up a truss vertically, with a color block inside it, lighting it up. Changing from one colour to another is a subtle transformation that can change the look of a set, for a different session, or even during a show.”

The Color Block 2™ from Chroma Q has single colour RGBA optics, 530 lumens output (almost double the original model) and theatrical grade dimming.
Features
• CRI* of 90 - for tungsten emulation.
• Enhanced colour range - create subtle theatrical hues.
• Single colour diffused optics - virtually eliminates multicoloured shadows & offers camera friendly output.
• Exceptional colour brightness & light output levels.
• Advanced beam spreading technology - even colour mix across the beam

*Note
The Colour Rendering Index (CRI) is a measure of how faithfully a test light source can render a set of 15 defined colours when compared to a natural light source. The more balanced the rendering results are, the higher the CRI will be. If all test colours render equal to a tungsten halogen lamp the CRI would be 100.
