Kiosk TouchScreens installed by Videoscope

Visitors to Lansdowne Place Shopping Centre in Peterborough, can now search for new homes and commercial properties along with more traditional mall offerings like cell phones, fashion, electronics etc.

RE/MAX Eastern Realty is providing this new service: interactive touchscreen displays which allow shoppers to check local real estate offerings by location, price and types of property.

The real estate data originates from Peterborough and the Kawarthas Association of Realtors.
The specialized software and video technology that handle it was developed by ITES Media of Montreal.
RE/MAX Eastern Realty is the first company to employ it in Ontario, although there are over 200 installations in the Province of Quebec.

Peter Rutkauskas, of Impact Digital Media, is the Ontario provider for RealtorMedia.TV, this digital signage and kiosk solution. Having worked at Videoscope, Peter was well acquainted with the expertise of the Videoscope Engineering team, and brought them in to install the four Samsung LCD displays.

Peter explains the challenges: “One of the displays had to be installed physically into the wall behind a specially designed glass cover with venting. The ceiling mounted display had to be carefully cut into custom millwork overhead. For the two kiosks, the touch monitors were installed into tight custom enclosures with precision and finesse, utilizing ultra-slim profile mounts. The Videoscope technicians did an excellent job to hide all cables and ensure a perfect fit.”

With more Dynamic Digital Signage soon to be installed in Mississauga and at Wasaga Beach, the Videoscope team is ready to go.
